Continuing the theme of “amazing people I met & worked with in 2012” is the lovely & talented Chef Kerri of Local Tastes Better. Specializing in farm-to-table dinner parties using all locally-sourced, seasonal & sustainable ingredients, Fullerton-based Chef Kerri is a master of her craft. Many of the ingredients used in her dishes come straight from her own back yard, so talk about locally-sourced! She she grows a year-round garden (the advantage of living in Southern California!) and raises three hens for delicious farm-fresh produce & eggs that often make an appearance on her menus. Her travels have inspired her menus as well – with spices – such as Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander, Cardamom & more – enhancing dishes and giving the local flavors a global flare.
