First Vines Planted | Watson Ranch Vineyards

Today our dreams became a reality. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of my husband, Tim, and the fantastic team he has been working with to install our vineyard from Fallbrook Winery, the first of our Cabernet Sauvignon vines from Vintage Nurseries in Wasco, California found their home on our land today. A cool, misty morning cleared into a bright, sunny day that was perfect for planting. And tonight we were blessed with a rain shower which christened the new vines on our slopes. ‘Watson Ranch Vineyards’ is beginning to take shape, and I couldn’t resist the opportunity to document the occasion with just a few photographs.
